And so we end April, a third of the way through the year. By the time I do another monthly review we’ll be in the midst of the new tour. Hopefully I’ll have seen some of the shows, online anyway, because my tickets are for Chicago which isn’t until the end of June. Actually in two months I’ll have seen four of the Innocence And Experience shows. Yeah I'm boasting.
It’s been a variety this month, a little of everything for everyone. We went from the highest rated song - Streets - to one of the lowest - Night And Day - and a mix of every number in between. Some eights and nines got us a bunch of interest, and although I haven’t run the numbers, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was on average the best month so far. I would certainly listen to it if it was a playlist, with the obvious exception.
I do have to say that since I set up a list last month, it’s been much easier to decide what to write, and even to get it done. It doesn’t matter if I’m hitting certain numbers (like I mentioned each month already), because I know I’ll hit them all by the end of the year. Now I either have a set list to write on specific dates, or I randomly choose from a list, and don’t have to worry about it. So far it’s working well, I think.
So I did end up with 26 songs, way ahead of my original plan. I guess that means I’m going to end up with a month where I look at a bunch of books and videos. But like I said, that’s okay.
Here’s everything I reviewed this month, with the ratings I gave them:
So Cruel 7
Holy Joe 7
